During my Bachelor’s degree (Cultural Studies\/Italian) at Humboldt University Berlin, I realized that I want to become a journalist. Even though scientific writing is fun, very few people understand it. The journalistic language is clear, concrete and understandable, which I like very much. In addition, I am closer to the events, thus closer to the people. So I started attending seminars on free journalism and film criticism and wrote my first film reviews and articles in the master’s degree course (literature, art and media studies) at the University of Konstanz. I completed an internship in the film editorial department of Kino-Zeit.de. After my studies I worked for about four years in the editorial department of a Swiss local newspaper and attended a journalism course in Zurich for one year while working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In November 2018 I became self-employed and took part in a qualification programme for journalists in Zurich for four months. Currently I am writing regularly for the Thurgauer Zeitung, the Kreuzlinger Zeitung, Akzent-Magazin as well as Seemoz and sometimes for the East Swiss culture magazine Saiten. Furthermore I do press and communication work at the Kreuzlingen cultural centre Kult-X. Besides that I work on a voluntary basis in the Horst Klub, a DIY concert and cultural venue in Kreuzlingen. In addition to culture and local issues, environmental and agricultural topics are becoming increasingly important to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freie Journalistin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend meines Bachelor-Studiums (Kulturwissenschaft\/Italienisch) an der Humboldt-Uni Berlin wurde mir klar, dass ich Journalistin werden m\u00f6chte. Auch wenn das wissenschaftliche Schreiben Spass macht, verstehen es doch die Wenigsten. Die journalistische Sprache ist klar, konkret und verst\u00e4ndlich, was mir sehr gef\u00e4llt. Zudem bin ich so nah am Geschehen, nah an den Menschen. So fing ich an Seminare zu freiem Journalismus und Filmkritik zu besuchen und schrieb im Master-Studium (Literatur-Kunst-Medienwissenschaft) an der Uni Konstanz erste Filmkritiken und Artikel. Zudem absolvierte ich ein Praktikum in der Filmredaktion von Kino-Zeit.de. Nach dem Studium arbeitete ich rund 4 Jahre fest in der Redaktion einer Schweizer Lokalzeitung und besuchte ein Jahr lang berufsbegleitend einen Journalismuskurs in Z\u00fcrich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im November 2018 machte ich mich selbstst\u00e4ndig und nahm ebenfalls in Z\u00fcrich f\u00fcr 4 Monate an einem Qualifikationsprogramm f\u00fcr Journalisten teil. Aktuell schreibe ich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig f\u00fcr die Thurgauer Zeitung, thurgaukultur.ch, Akzent-Magazin, Bote vom Untersee sowie f\u00fcr das Ostschweizer Kulturmagazin Saiten und gelegentlich f\u00fcr das neue Karla-Magazin in Konstanz. F\u00fcr die S\u00fcdwestdeutsche Philharmonie verfasse ich die Texte f\u00fcr das Programmheft. Au\u00dferdem mache ich Presse- und Kommunikationsarbeit im Kreuzlinger Kulturzentrum Kult-X. Im Verein Laboratorium f\u00fcr Artenschutz bin ich Vorstandsmitglied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neben Kultur und Gesellschaft nehmen bei mir Umwelt- und Landwirtschaft einen hohen Stellenwert ein, aber auch Gleichstellungsthemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
